If in the market for a fully choice 1836 Capped Bust half for type or other collecting pursuits, this O-112 example comes highly recommended. Though certified as an EF45, the fields emit undisturbed steely frosted luster that is above grade expectations. The toning is a consistent rose-gold that becomes entirely golden under a bright light. The obverse strike is bold with fully defined stars, though the reverse is weakly defined at the eagle's head. I'm really big on choice surfaces and this pieces meets my expectations and then some. Worthy of a quick purchase decision. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder. December 1969
