Under a bright light, this steely reflective 1827 JR-3 dime is sharp and brilliant, with claims to full Mint State luster. Any rub is limited with a careful 10x inspection necessary to locate traces on the high points. There is one ancient micro line across Liberty that was noted during the same 10X review, but certainly did not bother the strict graders at CACG. The overall strike is nearly complete with only the eagle leg feathers being partially impressed. This is a noteworthy offering that would be ideal for type or inclusion in an advanced collection.
