Though with a mintage of 700 pieces, the 1874 With Arrows proof issue was not particularly well struck with cameo designated survivors being rare in full gem or better. The striking of 1874 proof dimes resulted in soft mirrors with few pieces being capable of gem or superb gem certification. The Evergreen State Collection offering is typical of the issue with soft mirrors though the cameo designation is warranted. Strike is complete with some right obverse field granularity that is as made. Surfaces are untoned. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder. December 1969
