 Choice $525 Near-Gem Original, Saw Mill Run Collection.. This is a PQ-example for the grade, with neatly contrasting gray fields and silver devices. Light crust is sprinkled over both sides, but the fields remain largely even in color. Mintage in this year was 15,200 pieces, part of the low-mintage quarter run extending from 1879 to 1889, and this piece would be an excellent start to such a set. CAC stickering and Grading has certified 34 examples in all grades combined with 4 pieces at VF20 and below. Housed in a Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder with CAC approval.
