This most attractive 1852 Seated quarter returns to the GFRC price list after yet another buyback event from a regular client. Unquestionably, a worthy candidate that was submitted to CAC given its original rose-gray patina and steely-frosted luster. Sadly, it was not approved. Only 177,060 pieces were struck during the 1850-1852 silver arbitrage period where the silver weight was worth more than face. Many were melted making this date quite challenging to locate.
