Original $525 Scarce Issue, Rose-Gray Patina, Near-Choice Original, New Orleans Collection. With a mintage of only 720,000, the 1894-O Barber dime has been considered to be one of the scarcer issues in the series. This newly released New Orleans Collection example has thick rose-gray patina on the obverse and lighter toning on the reverse. Several hairlines on the check preclude a Choice quality rating. Purchased January 2008 and now returning to the market as a "fresh" lot. Housed in PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder.
