This 1869 proof Indian is perfectly original with no traces of hairlines sufficient for a GFR%C-Gem quality rating. An orange-brown patina covers the obverse while the reverse is a colorful palette with center rose-gold surrounded by greens and gold between the wreath and the rim. The piece easily secured a CAC green bean due to hairline free surfaces and undisturbed mirrors. This lot performs well under a bright light. CAC price guide is $1230 as reference with only 10 approved at the certified grade. Housed in PCGS Gen 3.1 (1993-1998) old green holder with CAC approval.
