Gem $1200 Gem Original, New Orleans Collection.. Rich color covers both sides of this New Orleans piece, with deep blue and slate patina evident on the obverse, while the reverse reveals russet color at rim, framing a silver and olive center. The New Orleans Barber dime series runs from 1892 to 1909, except for 1904, making for a 17-coin set. Mintages are considerably less than their Philadelphia counterparts and the pieces are more challenging to collect, especially in higher grades. PCGS notes 27 coins in MS65, with 16 pieces finer.
