$485 		Superb Strike, Ideal for Type, Brilliant Reflectivity, Lightly Mirrored, Mottled Toning. Hurry on this 1875-S BF-7 double dime as an ideal candidate for a type set. This lot excels in several categories and deserves a JUST BUY IT NOW recommendation. I don't remember seeing many partially mirrored 1875-S double dimes in my travels and this piece certainly stands out under a bright light with sharp reflectivity on the obverse and to a lesser extant on the reverse. Next is the center obverse strike with LIBERTY being elevated with each letter distinctly defined separately from the scroll edges. The reverse strike is close to complete with intricately detailed feathers though there is some light weakness at the upper left wing tip. The grayish mottled toning is lighter on the coin that illustrated with my images. Overall, this is a really NICE double dime for type. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder. December 1969
