 Gem $750 Gem Original, Lustrous Pastel Toning, Fully Struck, Former Birmingham Collection.. This is the second time that GFRC has the pleasure to offer this lovely 1886 Seated dime. Initially sold out of the Birmingham Collection and now upgrade and back on the market. Pastel toning is the highlight with intermixed aquamarine, gold and rose coloring on the obverse and mottled gray, ebony and rose on the reverse. Bright light viewing exposes the luster and accentuates the colors. The overall strike is crisp with no signs of weakness. Same for blemishes as none were seen. If this dime has just a bit more flashy luster, then it would be a candidate for MS66 designation. In the current PCGS holder, it is accurately graded. Housed in old blue label PCGS holder with standard ring insert; serial number 3756017.
