Though lightly worn, this 1884-S dollar retains its lightly mirrored fields and pleasing reflective radiance. Under a bright light, there is undisturbed viewing with clean fields and little if any abrasion on the cheek. Swirling cartwheels are also worthy of mention. The three darker areas on the lower reverse are points of "dirt" resting on the surfaces. These are benign and not bothering the surfaces underneath. Housed in newer NGC holder with edge view insert.
