 Choice $950 Steely Reflectance, Peripheral Gold, Choice Original, Sooner Collection.. If a fan of the early John Reich Capped Bust design, this 1811 Small 8 might be of interest. Another Sooner Collection release, this lot presents steely reflective surfaces with a hint of frosted mint bloom. Essentially untoned and brilliant with a copper-gold band at the stars with lighter coloration at the reverse legend. Strike is typical of the issue with elevated stars on the right obverse while the left stars are weakly impressed. Surfaces have a few well hidden contact points of no consequence. Housed in new large font NGC holder.
