$1750 		Steely Fields, Plum Purple-Gray Toning, Choice Surfaces, Lakeland Collection.. Thick toning covers steely surfaces, with plum-purple patina blanketing both sides. The centers are lighter and exhibit emerald-gray shading within the drapery and reverse shield. WB-1, with die clash marks at the elbow and a broken mintmark. The strike is strong, with razor-sharp detail in the claw joints. Previously from the Cumberland County Collection sale of February 2021 with the record being available in the Sales Archive.
