$3600 		Liberty $20 Type 3 Candidate, Granular Frosted Luster, Rich Honey-Gold Coloration, CAC Approved. 1900 Philadelphia double eagles are an ideal Type 3 candidate given the high mintage and constant availability. Collector challenge is selecting an example at an attractive price point along with having CAC approval. This recently acquired GFRC example features brilliant frosted luster that has a granular texture. Surfaces are close to unabraded and constant with the MS64+ certified grade. Coloration is a rich honey-gold as is typically seen for the issue. The CDN CAC price guide exhibits a doubling from MS64 ($3250) to MS65 ($6310). This lovely example is fairly priced.
