$995 		Die Flaw Reverse, Incredible Early Die State Diagnsotics, Gem Original. The 1838 "Die Flaw Reverse is paired with two obverse dies. The early die state pairing as captured as F-113 while the late die state as F-105. This newly sourced F-113 is a Seated dime die variety specialist's dream given the gem preservation and bold reverse diagnostics. Both die scratches are seen to the left of the O and D in ONE DIME along with another die line connecting the two E's. The full extent of the center die flaw die readily visible on this specimen. The frosted luster is notable brilliant and consistent on both sides. The strike is fully executed as is typical for this early Seated dime date. Yes, this lot has been to CAC and was not approved leading to some head scratching. Housed in PCGS Gen 3.1 (1993-1998) old green holder and ready for inclusion into an advanced die variety collection. December 1969
