$4045 		Near Gem Original, Cumberland County Collection.. Creamy satiny cartwheel luster is the highlight of this "CCC" 1927 San Francisco struck half dollar. A near-gem with unabraded fields during a bright light viewing session. Surfaces are toned a uniform creamy white. Strike is better than average for this date after checking a fair number of CoinFacts auction records. Liberty's head is almost complete with some definition of the ear. Hand and thumb are partially outlined and only the topmost skirt lines being incompletely struck. Reverse strike is well executed. Conservatively graded and housed in a PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder with CAC approval. Previously from the Twins Lakes Collection and listed in the GFRC Sales Archive. PCGS #6587. December 1969
