$2400 		Brilliant Frosted Luster, Yellow Honey-Gold, Choice Original, Unique at Grade, Oregon Beaver Collection. Jewel-like frosted mint luster flashes from both sides of this borderline Mint State quarter eagle with the coveted AU58+ designation. The 1875 San Francisco quarter eagle is recognized for its scarcity in all grades and it is rare in full Mint State. The mintage is low at only 11,600 for the issue with a reputation for weak strikes. This Oregon Beaver release features fully defined obverse motifs with the reverse only exhibiting weakness on the lower left leg feathers.
