$1575 		Type 3 Design, Watery Mirrors, Superb Bright Light Eye Appeal. Being a big fan of watery proof mirrors, I could not resist adding this gem 1871 proof 3 cent silver to inventory. Mintage is 960 for this Type 3 design silver piece. Both sides are entirely unabraded including pristine elevated rims. Coloration is a consistent rose-blue, gray on both sides. Angled lighting inspection exposes sharp proof mirrors that have a "watery" texture. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder with CAC approval. December 1969
