Brilliant centers reveal natural silver color and are framed by russet patina at the rims, more heavily on the obverse. The overall eye appeal is strong and the GFRC Gem rating is warranted. Die erosion is evident in ONE DIME, and the reverse cracks clearly indicate a deteriorating die. PCGS has certified 290 coins, but the situation is more challenging when one considers strict originality. CAC notes 36 pieces total, with six coins in MS65 and six examples finer.
