$1700 		Semi-Prooflike, Scarce Low Mintage Date, Honey-Gold, Choice Surfaces. 1884 Philadelphia strikes were limited to only 1,950 pieces rendering this date as very scarce to rare in all grades. GFRC is fortunate to be offering two examples from an old time collection. This AU58 certified lot features mirrored fields as is typical for the issue. Under a 10x, this is light wear in the fields. Coloration is honey-gold while the strike is essentially complete with only the left eagle leg feathers not being completely defined. Under a bright light, the mirrored radiate a significant amount of reflective brilliance. The offer price is most reasonable given the tiny mintage and lack of availability.
