Market Acceptable $525 Better San Francisco Date, Partially Mirrored, Net Graded. 1896-S date has a noteworthy history with the date being rare until the 1950s when bags were paid out from the San Francisco Mint. Furthermore, this is reported to have been released in rolls during the early 1970s per Wayne Miller. This can be located with prooflike fields though considered quite rare. The Scenic Lakeview has released this partially mirrored example that is housed in yellow label ANACS holder. Under a bright light, the fields are obviously mirrored though abraded with faint chatter and some hairlines. Though not a perfect specimen in terms of surfaces, the overall mirrored eye appeal is quote compelling as it has been net graded. Priced below GreySheet bid and a bargain for those building a Dansco or Whitman bookshelf collection.
