$375 		Peripheral Rainbow Toning, Steely Reflective Surfaces, Bart Chapman Collection.. Our anonymous consignor's release continues with this colorful 1817 O-110 Capped Bust half. The obvious highlight is the peripheral rainbow toning that explodes into view when passing under a bright light. Typical of a long stay in an old paper album, the obverse has acquired classic edge toning while the reverse is dressed in lighter gold shades. Surfaces are steely reflective with several hair lines in the obverse fields. Previously from the Bart Chapman Collection, a notable Upstate New Year numismatist who recently passed away. Housed in NGC Gen 17 (2004-2008) holder. December 1969
