$3450 		Gem Original, Cumberland County Collection.. Though the 1929-S sports double the mintage of the 1929-D, there is pricing parity in the circulated grades. In gem Mint State, the 1929-S emerges at the better date. This "CCC" lot exhibits natural frosted luster with active cartwheels and is worthy of its gem certification. Hints of gold are noted on the obverse. As with the Cumberland County 1929-D, this lot offers a strong strike with bold head definition and 98% complete skirt lines. An engrossing lot for the serious fan of the Walker series at the higher Mint State grades. The CAC census is 155 with 23 finer. At a CDN CAC guide of $3600, the reserve is quite fair.
