Gem $875 New April 14! Final Year Issue, Creamy Frosted Luster, Gem Original, Scenic Lakeview Collection. The 1921 dated Morgan issue presents an interesting back story. Few were released upon issue, followed by the mintage being released at intervals between 1930 through 1950. Few original bags were saved. Obverse strike weakness is typical for the issue with many saved over the years. This date become more elusive at the full gem level as is the case for this Scenic Lakeview lot. The creamy frosted luster is immediately eye catching along with the light golden hues. Surfaces are unabraded and consistent with TPG grade. The center obverse strike is as noted by Bowers. Some would call the luster satiny as a side note. Worthy of being rated a gem. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2024) holder.
