Both proof and circulation strikes were struck with this pairing with proof strikes being more elusive. This GFRC-Gem rated proof example offers brilliant reflectance from copper-gold toned surfaces. The lettering sharpness and overall strike, though not as pronounced as issues from 1860s, is typical and well produced. Under a bright light, the presentation is undisturbed with sharp mirrors.
