$1750 		Scarce in Grades, Silver-Gray, Typical Strikel. With a mintage of 67,000 and low survival rate, the 1862-S Seated quarter issue is scarce in all grades and particularly so in EF45 or better. This new release arrives from a complete collection being dispersed by GFRC. Both sides are toned a light silver-gray with traces of steely reflectance on the obverse and a more frosted appearance on the reverse. The obverse strike is typical with bold device by weak stars. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2024) holder. December 1969
