$2000 		Luster Bomb, Brilliant Reflectance, Honey Gold. Yep, 1901-S $5 half eagles are certainly common, however I could not pass up buying this luster bomb gem at the Summer Baltimore show. Dazzling metallic luster explodes under bright light and even has me taking second and third looks before I move on. I'm calling a JUST BY IT NOW recommendation and believe the new buyer will be thrilled. Yes, this piece does not have a green bean and I'm uncertain if having been to Far Hills, since changed to the Bedminster address for the CAC Stickering business. A few of the tiniest lines are seen on the obverse and could be the limiting factor for a superb gem certification. Trust me on this one. Housed in new large font NGC holder. December 1969
