This date is scarce in all grades according to Briggs with availability into the VF grades (R4 rarity) and then jumping to R5+ in EF or better. This western frontier survivor presents light gray surfaces and a typical strike for the Briggs 2-A die pairing with weakly impressed stars and a partially defined head. An opportunity to fill in this challenging slot in a date and mintmark set project with a specimen from the long time president of the Liberty Seated Collectors Club.
