Consignor Price Reduction - Clearly a better date in Mint State, 1905 San Francisco $10 gold was limited to 369,250 strikes with a substantial portion enticing circulation. Nearly all Mint State survivors are bracketed between MS61-MS62 with fully choice examples being downright rare. This newly released example deserves consideration given the CAC approval. Undoubtedly original, with flashy reflectance and swirling cartwheels under a bight light, bringing fine viewing for the knowledgeable collector. Coloration is mostly honey gold with subtle green hues. Filed chatter is captured by the certified grade. Since bullion gold's sharp runup, the price guides are still trying to keep up with market increases. A comparable lot sold via Stack's Bowers February 2025 for $3720 as reference.
