This 1890-S F-104 release, from the Dr. Tim Cook Collection, was a golden opportunity for the astute die variety collector. A search of the GFRC Sales Archives confirmed what I expected when first loading this dime in the system. Up to the point, GFRC has not sold a single F-104 example with both the double die obverse and repunched mintmark reverse. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2025) holder with F-104 RPM die variety attribution on the label. Immediately sold upon being showcased in the Daily Blog. December 1969
