 Original $2600 No Motto Type, Important Example, Steely Silver-Gray, Sooner Collection. Creamy silver and gray surfaces host steely luster, with a few deeper shades at the lower portion of the reverse. The 1866-S was issued both with and without the motto, but the No Motto mintage was substantially less, at 60,000 pieces, making this one of the more challenging coins in the San Francisco seated half series. WB-1, the only die pair for the No Motto variety, with a small mintmark. The strike is typical, with soft stars and some feathers joining together. Housed in a PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder.
