$1050 		Colorful Obverse Toning, Steely Luster, Undisturbed Bright Light Viewing. This FUN show new purchase prompt caught my attention in a dealer wholesale box and is now being offered. Sure, 1878-S is a common date, but the preservation is what this lot is all about. Both sides are steely reflective under a bright light with undisturbed viewing of the fields and luster. The obverse is colorfully toned with an orange arc at the base and blues at the top border. Orange-gold is noted on the reverse with particularly strong cartwheels. This is a superior AU58 that should go to CAC. Fairly priced. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2015-2020) holder. December 1969
