If searching for a distinctive 1873 No Arrows half dollar, Closed 3 of course, then please consider this impressive Sooner Collection release. This example is an atypical strike with mirrored fields and watery reflective luster. Surfaces are toned a light gold with darker shades at the borders. Strike is well executed overall, with only stars 7 and 8 lacking fully defined center points. With a 10x, the heavily mirrored fields were noted with a few wispy hairlines, otherwise a full Gem designation would have been assigned. There is an ancient line in the lower right obverse field that must be mentioned. Previously from the New Jersey Collection Liberty Seated Half Dollar Sale by GFRC during April 2018. Housed in NGC Gen 17 holder with standard ring insert.
