Choice $950 Brilliant Steely-Frosted Luster, Swirling Cartwheels, Sooner Collection. Placing this steely-frosted 1877 Philadelphia strike under a bright light exposes a good amount of brilliant reflectance as the surfaces are so closed to being mirrored. The "flash" is quite pleasing along with swirling cartwheels. Light chatter is noted in the right obverse field but not consequential. The strike is typical. The Sooner Collection half dollar release has certainly been a welcomed addition to the GFRC price list as is witness by this lot. Housed in PCGS Gen 5.0 (2005) Dupont hologram holder.
