Liberty Seated half dime collectors should take note of this exciting 1856-O V-10a specimen with one of the heaviest die clashes seen on Seated coinage. The obverse die, when struck by the reverse die due to no planchet in the feeder mechanism, has been imprinted with the full outline of the reverse wreath. Both the left and right obverse fields exhibits complete outlines of the reverse motifs. This is a brilliant frosted example that is complete struck other than the typical denticle weakness, a chronic issue for both the Philadelphia and New Orleans dates. Surfaces are well preserved and unabraded. This is a lot of coin at the offer price. Housed in NGC Gen 7 (1997-2000) holder.
