Choice $2250 Key Date, Low Mintage, Choice Original, New Orleans Collection.. Only 440,000 1895 dated Barber dimes were coined at the New Orleans mint, making it one of the lowest mintage issue of the series. As a result, the date carries a premium for circulated example and is very difficult in Mint State. The New Orleans Collection continues its duplicates release with this key date lot. Surfaces are toned with gray hues along with embedded olive and gold under angled lighting. For those enjoying their barber dimes under a 10x, the motifs and fields are unabraded and pleasing.
