Gem $2150 Gem Original Proof, Cumberland County Collection.. The "CCC" proof Walker procession continues with this immaculate gem 1939 example. Starting in 1939, proofs were more frequently saved and properly preserved leading to the quality level seen here. Surfaces are pristine behind a thin layer of toning that results in a lower contrast white appearance. Strike is also complete but not as sharp as the early "CCC" proof dates.
