 Gem $2600 New March 3! Gem Original, Evergreen State Collection.. Liberty Seated dime proof mintage increased to 1039 pieces during 1883 with the date being well represented in the CAC census. CAC has approved 8 examples at the lofty PR67 grade with an additional 7 with Cameo designation. This Evergreen State example is a strong testament to this grade level as the surfaces are absolutely pristine resulting in undisturbed bright light viewing. The brilliant mirrors offer watery textures and the peripheral copper-gold provides the appropriate framing that we expect from superb gem proofs. The strike is typical of the issue with limited wire rims. The CAC price guide suggests $2600 as current market value. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder with CAC approval.
