An exceptional 1885 Liberty Seated dime proof strike with nicely contrasted cameo eye appeal. This gorgeous gem was originally part of a complete 1885 proof set which has been holdered and dispersed. Though the images indicate classic center to edge copper gold toning, any angled light exposes deeply reflective mirrors with substantial undisturbed brilliance. A thin peripheral blue arc on the obverse is icing on the cake. This is an amazing offering that needs in-hand inspection to be appreciated.
