$1650 		Heavily Frosted Surfaces, Gem Original, Massachusetts Collection.. Steely fields reveal frosted luster that is strong for the technical grade. Smoky patina fills both sides, with light dirt evident in the protected portions of the wreath. F-116, with a downward sloping date and a mintmark placed at the left of the bow knot. Nicely struck, with a defined split in the bow knot and a full head. CAC notes eight pieces in MS65 and only three coins higher, all in MS66. The CAC price guide value is $1,600. Previously from the Gerry Fortin reference collection. Housed in a PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder with CAC approval. PCGS #4705. December 1969
