Yet another case where GFRC photography leaves much to be desired. The gorgeous 1860 F-101a dime has fabulous steely frosted luster with mirror reflectance under angled lighting. This is to be expected as circulation strikes were produced from a proof die pair with the (a) die variety suffix being added for the circulation strike. The holder is also old and worn which further detracts the camera with plastic haze spots. Trust me that this piece is worthy of its gem quality rating.
