 Gem $875 New April 14! Repunched 2, Superior Presentation, Gem Original, Sheffield Collection. Rich frosted luster and golden aquamarine toning are the highlights of this gem 1882 F-101a dime. This piece was struck from proof dies that were re-employed for circulation strikes. Surfaces exhibit granular mint bloom that is consistent on both sides. A bright light review reveals frosted luster that is partially muted by the dense patina. Cartwheels are active, more so on the reverse. Repunching on the 2 digit is evident under the top ball and below the base. An unquestionable gem that is so close to full MS66. Housed in new CAC Grading holder and graded consistent with CAC approval standards.
