Gem $1250 New April 23! Antietam Anniversary, Evergreen State Collection. The Battle of Antietam, on September 17, 1862 was one of the bloodiest battles of the American Civil War. A 75th anniversary commemorative was issued in 1937 to mark the event. This Evergreen State example closes out the release of his entire early silver commemorative collection. Surfaces are consistently frosted with vibrant cartwheels under a bright light. The obverse toning is consistent with traditional U.S. mint paper holder layout with a golden center dot and peripheral shades. This is a superb gem which is accurately graded. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2025) holder.
