Type 2 Reverse, Choice Original, Frosty Cartwheel Luster, Superb Eye Appeal, Pikes Peak Collection. 1892 brought a transition year for the Barber quarter reverse hub design with both Type 1 and Type 2 hubs employed circulation strikes in Philadelphia and New Orleans. For the Type 2 Reverse, the primary pickup point is the left wing end and its placement over UNIT(E)D and completely blocking that letter. This Pikes Peak release is a solid AU58 specimen with light rub on the cheek. This is a brilliant frosted example with thick mint bloom on both sides. Bright viewing is pleasing with nice cartwheel auction. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder with CAC approval.
