Choice $1000 New April 20! Gorgeous Steely Reflectance, Choice Original, CAC Candidate?, Pikes Peak Collection. If searching for a perfectly original Liberty Seated half dollar for type, this Pike Peaks release might just fit the bill. I'm quite impressed by the undisturbed steely fields and resulting reflectance under a bright light along with swirling cartwheels. Patination includes the entire compliment of rainbow colors, especially the bullseye pattern on the reverse. When first inspecting this lot, my immediately question was why no CAC green bean. A careful 10x inspection notes potential rub on the eagle's neck feathers as the probably cause. Regardless, the presentation is above the certified grade and well worth being added to a type collection. Housed in PCGS Gen 6.0 (2015-2020) holder.
