The second year of Liberty Seated half dime and dime production brought stars to the obverse with No Drapery type designation. This 1838 gem would certainly qualify for inclusion into an advanced type set or regular series set. Natural coin gray patination screams originality while the frosted luster is delightful under a bright light. A complete strike is also needed along with a die crack from the right ribbon end to the denticles below. A tad stronger luster would bring this piece into the CAC stickering realm. Housed in a PCGS Gen 6.1 (2020-2025) holder.
