 Original $600 New July 20! Doubled Die Reverse #3, Golden Copper Patina, Accurately Grade, Cleveland Collection. Doubled Die Reverse #3 is listed as F-106. There is substantial die doubling in the left wreath devices. The offered example is strictly original with a transparent layer of golden copper patina on the obverse and more uniform gold across the reverse. During bright light viewing, frosty luster is activated and accentuates the golden hues. Originally from the Gerry Fortin Reference Collection and a top quality example housed in PCGS Gen 3.0 (1990-1993) old green holder with CAC approval. The grading is accurate with a weak upper obverse strike that is not uncommon for this die pairing.
