A challenging die variety to locate, the F-103 die pairing exhibits three important while common diagnostics types within one die pairing. Within the lower shield, the misplaced bases of the 18 digits can present. The right base of the 1 digit is clearly seen between shield lines 6 and 7. The lower outer left edge of the 8 digit can be found between shield lines 8 and 9. The date shows obvious repunching on the 1 and 7 digits. The final date was repunched in a counter clockwise rotation manner as the 1 digit is repunched above its flag while the 7 digit is repunched below the base. An original example that will be difficult to locate and fully worthy of the offer price.
