Choice $5500 New June 10! Notably Rare Date in Mint State, Partially Mirrored, CAC Approved, Oregon Beaver Collection. The 1876 gold quarter eagle date sports a mintage of only 4,170 and is a rarity in Mint State. In terms of CAC approval, this date is a major rarity with this example only at the MS61 grade level with six finer. Bright honey-gold surfaces are partially mirrored reflective, with minimal abrasions for the grade. Under a bright light, cartwheels are readily apparent with no obtrusive anomalies. Strike softness on Liberty's hair curls and the eagle's left leg is typical of the issue. A fresh release from the Oregon Beaver Collection that is worth of consideration. Housed in a PCGS Gen 4.4 (2005-2011) holder with CAC approval.
