 Original $365 New December 31! Medium O, Shattered Reverse #2, Terminal Die State, Gerry Fortin Reference Collection. The F-102b reverse die state is most likely the terminal die state based on years of personal and community research. There is a massive die crack from rim above ST(A)TES and across through STA(TES O)F. Note that (O)F is partial obscured by the broken die. The die crack through tops of UNIT(ED) is well pronounced. This example was purchased directly from Greer during May 1995 and ships in its original cardboard 2x2. Both sides are toned a light gray with hints of rose on the obverse. The shattered reverse die cracks are readily evident on this lot. Within the Liberty Seated dime online reference, my F-102b image is that of a piece from Dr. Tim Cook where the die crack across (O)F is complete while on this example, the internal die cud has yet to form. Few examples of this late die state are known.
