Barber Half Dollar - with Varieties Set

A complete set is VERY challenging because of the 1892-O Micro o piece in addition to the other varieties. Trying to find the Lawrence described varieties is difficult but different mintmarks and hubs can be completed. References on this series include Walter Breen's 1987 Encyclopedia, David Lawrence's 1991 Complete Guide and Bowers' Guide Book of 2015. The Barber Coin Collectors' Society articles are helpful, but many coins are left open for interpretation and valuation. Generally, I have used Lawrence's work as guidance in defining the varieties and a compilation of works to describe rarity.
