Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: A vertical die crack completely bisects the reverse from north to south during this late die state. On Obverse 2, the repunching of Stars 8 and 9 is still evident. Minor rim cuds are present on the left side of the obverse. 1838 dimes with this late die state produce a spectacular variety that can be challenging to locate at large coin shows or at auction.
