Obverse 5.3: Partial Drapery Due to Die Clashing
Reverse G.2: Clashed Reverse Die

Obverse 5.3 Reverse G.2
Obverse Diagnostic Point(s) Reverse Diagnostic Point(s)

Comments: Obverse 5.2 shows a die clash mark under Liberty's right elbow that has been mistakenly designated as partial drapery. Reverse G.2 exhibits strong die clashing from the contact with the obverse die. This variety is easier to cherry pick through examination of the reverse die. A strong reverse die clash immediately identifies the possibility of a pairing with the Partial Drapery obverse.
