Gorgeous Eye Appeal, Frosty Cartwheel Luster, Rose-Blue Toning, Complete Strike, Conservatively Graded. Where did this gorgeous 1846 Seated quarter come from? Surfaces are frosty original with swirling cartwheel luster under a light source. Strike is hammered on both sides and adds to the overall eye appeal. Toning brings more charm with rose-gold and sky blue on both sides. A long reverse die crack extends from AMERIC(A) to the right wing and reaches the upper rim through (OF). I believe that anyone who sees this piece in hand will agree that the eye appeal and luster are consistent with a MS63 grade level rather than the assigned MS62. Abrasions are to a minimum and not a factor in the current grade. Housed in 2015 style PCGS holder. A special GFRC offering worthy of consideration. December 1969
